To Copyright or not to Copyright?

Copyright should be learnt by every single creator, because it is one of the most important aspect of creation. If someone copies your own work and you didn’t copyright your work, then that person can legally use your own hard work. Vice versa, if you steal someones work and its copyrighted, then you might be into serious trouble.

I believe copyright is important for us, because we can protect our own works. We should not allow anyone to easily steal our work. Each country has its different laws of copyright, therefore it is essential to learn about copyright before making a product. There is an Australian Copyright Council in Australia, and it is essential to understand how to utilize it. We should all use it because it also encourages other people to create their own work. Copyright in Australia is free, and does not require any paperwork, which is a plus from other countries.

Learning how to not use copyright works is important too. It is very important to never, ever, ever use copyrighted items. We have to research thoroughly before creating our product, making sure that we don’t infringe any copyright issue. For example, if I use a branded product in my movie without the permission of that person who created the product, then I may have broken a copyright law. It is very important to examine our products before releasing it too, as we don’t want to clash with other people’s products.

In conclusion, it is important to know what is copyright and why it is important to us.
