Macro Marketing Does not Cost Too Much

Macro marketing is the influence in which marketing policies and strategies have on an economy and society as whole. It focuses more on the consumer rather than the individual. The goal of macro marketing is to try and reach the mass market of consumers.

Every year millions of people watch the Super Bowl. Many watch it just for the commercials because they know it will be new funny ones. Advertising is criticized hard but to me is one of the most important things about buying new products. Ads may be misleading and as some say “corny” but it catches most consumers attention. Pouring that million dollar ad out there may not force you to buy the product but it may encourage you to at least try it out. The thing is a consumer may try the product because of the ad but they may not like it. Launching new products can be costly but also could be effective way for companies to increase their revenue. Advertising helps get the product out to the customer.

Customers sometimes want change, so by seeing a new advertisement or commercial it may help them to narrow down what they may want to try next. If you watched the above commercial then you probably already know that Doritos has a new commercial every year. People like me are always happy to see it because it makes me want to go buy a bag.

Sometimes as they say you have to spend money to make money so investing in advertisements may be the way!!
