When You See the Insidious URL Rabbit

Avoid the urge to pursue!

I caught a glimpse of the URL Rabbit (UR) just outside my office window. Stepping outside, I watched him lazily lope off my lawn and start down the road. Curious about where the UR was going, I obediently followed.

Turning several corners, the UR began picking up the pace. Unknowingly, I was lulled from walking into a fast shuffle to keep sight of that little, bushy tail. Corner after corner, the UR speeding faster and faster, I broke into a light jog.

There is just enough room for me to drop straight down if I keep my arms either at my sides or straight above my head. I can hear the shuffling feet of the UR below. It sounds as if he is waiting for me.

Reaching for the sky, I step over the edge and into the hole. The rush of cool air swishes past my face. Little branches brush my sides and pieces of small rock and dirt race to…
