7 Things to Give Up for a Happy Life

If you want to be happy start doing this

There is only one purpose you should focus on in your life: being happy. But guess what? You cannot be happy until you give some things up, it is a process you have to learn and live by yourself: not always pleasant, not always easy, but definitely worth it.

So let’s dive in and see which are the 7 things you should give up in your life to truly find happiness.

First of all, in order to be happy, you have to get yourself in the right mind-set to do so. You have to be confident that you can live the best life you have ever lived, and that everything that is in your mind can be reached, with a little bit of trust and some work.

Give up all the doubts you have on yourself, you ARE successful, you ARE beautiful, you ARE determined, you ARE lovable, you ARE worth it, you ARE everything you want to be.

There’s nothing in your life that can bring you on the path of failure more than excuses. Excuses make people remain in their comfort zone, and as Roy T. Bennett said in his “The Light in the Heart”: “Great things don’t come from comfort zones”.

So give up on excuses, and let the uncertainty of life fill your days. Don’t waste time on coming up with an excuse, invest time by diving into some new experiences, into some new challenges, and ideas. You don’t want to become a living excuse; you don’t want to give up on anything life is offering you.

Sometimes people give up on certain paths of their lives because of the fear they feel towards a challenge. Don’t be one of them.

It is true that “fear makes us feel our humanity”, as Benjamin Disraeli said, but the fact that it defines us does not mean it also has to get us stuck in the situation.

The fear of the future is the fear of living itself, it is the major mental block that forbids us to go ahead, to leave the old and dive into the new, to be hopeful that future always brings better things, because we already lived past, and it was pretty bad, mostly.
