Summer Evening in Texas

Seeing you in

Colorful lights;

I hold fast to my dreams.

You’re so colorful,

Your vibrant lights

Lead me to my dream.

You teach me,

Life without dream,

Is like barren desert frontier.

It’s just another summer evening in the mid of June. I can’t go out during daylight because it’s too hot outside.

In the evening, I leave the house to walk downtown.

I have been walking along Campbell Street.

I noticed the whole city has been vibrating its pulse through lights before my two curious eyes.

Colorful lights are reiterating the living pulse of the city.

Just at that time, a tram has been slowly approaching me.

Sometimes the sweet sound of the bell is coming out from the tram.

I have been enjoying the scenes with my enthralled eyes.
