It’s cheap and easy. You can do it anytime. It’s an activity you can do on your own. No guesses?

Well, it’s also very healthy and you get a lot of sunlight. Give up yet?

If you guessed … gardening.. you are correct!

Gardening might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you mention exercise. However, that’s exactly what it is. You lift soil, you toil and sweat, you dig and move around your yard.

There are so many activities you can do in the yard. I can’t even choose between planting flowers, doing a little bit of landscaping or tidying!

Gardening can definitely help with endurance, flexibility and strength.

You’re constantly on the move and engaging different muscles in your body.

Gardening may not be for everyone. But if you haven’t given it an honest effort, go ahead and give it a fair shot. I encourage you. Just start small.

That’s what I did and I have grown to love gardening as a hobby.
